Parents, grandparents, and siblings had a welcome chance to reconnect with Saint Mary’s students during the annual Family Weekend. Along with the popular Fall Frolic fun run, musical and athletic performances, tours of Winona, and fun and games for the whole family, parents met with some of the important new people in their students’ lives—professors, advisers, and other university staff—during a community reception. Even though many of the students were in their first few months of college, parents could already see the close relationships and personal attention that are a hallmark of this institution.
Another form of reconnection took place with the annual Legacy Dinner, which celebrated current students who have parents or grandparents who are Saint Mary’s University or College of Saint Teresa alumni. See photos from the weekend.
