The spirit and activities of Multicultural Week in February are part of our work to create a vibrant campus and transformational residential experience at the College. Growing from a showcase for international students at the Winona Campus, activities now highlight the variety and richness of both American and international culture, and promote awareness and understanding of diversity in all its forms. It’s an opportunity for students, faculty, and staff to learn more about each other and expand their worldviews. The week is sponsored by the Student Activities Office and planned by a committee of students, faculty, and staff representing a variety of campus interests.
The week’s activities included a fair trade sale and food fair; international student exposition; special dinners; relevant movies with discussions; faculty- and student-led conversations and activities; and an open house at the International Center.
