Our Department of Theatre and Dance presented the fun musical “The Drowsy Chaperone” at the Page Theatre as the last production helmed by retiring director Dr. Gary Diomandes. Winner of five Tony Awards, “The Drowsy Chaperone” was a loving send-up of the jazz-age musical that showcased talented students in show-stopping song-and-dance numbers. Musical direction was provided by Judy Myers, and choreography by Christine Martin. Diomandes is retiring this spring after 28 years; he will continue to direct the department’s London theatre program.
