Intercollegiate athletics are an important aspect of our vibrant campus and transformational residence life experience. Saint Mary’s joined universities and colleges across the country in celebrating the contributions of student-athletes at the Division III level in the classroom, on the field of competition, and in the community. A series of special events planned by student-athletes informed about DIII athletics, and showed concern for the community and social responsibility. Events included fundraisers for cancer research, a “Jog for Jack Superhero 5K” to benefit the son of women’s soccer coach Neil Cassidy, and vocal support for sexual assault awareness and prevention.
